The MécaGp - Tune Shop , who created it, why and for whom?
This is a big question that needs to be developed and that is what we are going to do here.

First of all, hello and good evening everyone. My name is Maxime, and I'm the founder and director of MécaGp. This story began with an unexpected love and passion for the world of 50cc.
It all started on September 12, 2021, with the purchase of my Derbi, aka Derbilator. I had just started my apprenticeship in auto mechanics, so I needed a vehicle to get to work. But I'd been passionate about tuning for years, so obviously giving myself two wheels and an engine was a bad idea.
Please know that with this first project I made a lot of mistakes, but these mistakes taught me everything I know today. That's why in each of our descriptions we explain everything from A to Z and we are open to any questions.

In short, first modification, we remove the oil pump to look for reliability, then change the headlight plate, the mudguard, installation of the first decal kit, a semi-custom full blue at the time even if the blue and pink was already in my head. We drive for a while like that, then arrive the first breakdowns, cylinder head gaskets, carburetor adjustment etc...
In February 2022, I assembled my famous 70 Metrakit Hand Made. We started directly with a full configuration, with crankshaft, ignition, carburetor, reed valve, exhaust. The first block and the simplest.

It was with him that I learned the most. At the same time, for 2 months literally every Tuesday of every week, I was broken down. But once the block was reliable, it was the most reliable of all! I kept it for 1 year, 10,000km and far too many adventures with it!
On an aesthetic level, we move on to its famous blue and pink decor, the birth of the Derbilator!

Then unfortunately, August 21, 2022, arrived. That day, I had an accident with the Derbilator. A broken leg and 3 months at home. During this time, I was planning the next modifications to the Derbi, I spent a lot of time looking for parts.
This is when we realize that websites are a huge part of our coin search and that most of the time we are given minimal information and the best coins are drowned in a pile of useless coins. A place to find all the best coins would be useful, right?

March 16, 2023, the first start of the 80 MHR TEAM. Now we're getting down to business! A cosmetic preparation down to the smallest detail and among the most remarkable! It was my dream engine, quite reliable, unique in its kind and a head-turner.
Then the dream turns into a nightmare. We undergo two MHR TEAM tightenings, then discover we've been delivered the wrong crankshaft. Who would have thought such a big mistake was possible? But it happened.
So we built an 88 Barikit, few people had one and it was very promising. Unfortunately, as I suspected, it seized up again, so we deduced a problem with the lower engine. Luckily, I hadn't gone for my second dream, the 90 Bidalot.
We take everything apart again and then reassemble the engine that left me wanting more, the 80 MHR TEAM, the cylinder with the pink cylinder head.
June 24, 2023, start of the 3rd MHR TEAM.

There, we move on to some crazy parts, engine and fairing bolt pack, two-tone spring among the first, pink brake pedal, titanium crankshaft nuts, two-tone blue and pink cartridge and double radiators. Finally my evo is complete! By the way, all these parts ring a bell, right? You can find most of them on the site, 100% the same.

Then later came the problems with the police, the breakage of 2 crankshafts, the dd replaced by a PVL and the very last decoration kit to mark my exit from the world of the 50.

Do you now understand better where the parts come from, the desire to sell you the best in the world of 50 and to give you the best advice?
Today, I still have a big foot in the 50cc world, even though I largely left it to move on to automobiles. 2nd project: BMW E46 320CI. The first car parts will also appear on the site during V2.0 of the project.
I've been through a lot of adventures in the world of 50, and that's what gave me the desire to offer you all this, so welcome to the MécaGp - Tune Shop! Enjoy, and remember, we're here for you!
